After hearing her open for a couple of Calobo shows, David hired Stephanie Schneiderman as a back-up singer in support of his 2000 release, “Get Me Out of This Place”. When Stephanie began working on her debut release with Sheryl Crow’s Grammy-hit writer Jeff Trott, she called David to help finish the record’s intended single, “Why Did You Run”. David co-wrote this song to completion and added a vocal track for the release.
